This is the festival, held at the time of "vintaging", that we started for the district.
It did'nt take long for the other district winemakers to realise our dedicated customers wanted to share the smells, sights and sounds of our most exciting time of the year.
At Jeir Creek we like nothing better than to have interested people viewing the harvest, crushing and pressing, and red cap management - we are going to maximise this experience by offering a "Vintage Experience" - stay, if you wish, at the fabulous Schonegg Guest House, be a part of our activities, and lunch with the winemakers.
The only difficult part of this exercise, is scheduling the day. We are at the mercy of grape ripening, so we can only schedule the exact date closer to the time.
